Facial Enhancements
Consultations on reducing the appearance of lines and changes in facial volume, planned from an in-person assessment in St Kilda.
- Registered medical practitioner
- Standardised 3D imaging
- A written, personalised plan
What are injectable treatments?
Injectable treatments are prescription-only treatments. Under Australian law, they cannot be named, described in detail or priced on a public website.
This page therefore describes the consultation, not a product. Dr Marie-Claire offers consultations on reducing the appearance of lines and on changes in facial volume and contour.
Every plan starts with a real-time, in-person consultation and assessment with Dr Marie-Claire. Treatment is considered only after that assessment, and only where it is clinically appropriate.

What are the consultations about?
How does the consultation work?
Dr Marie-Claire plans from anatomy first. She reviews your medical history, your concerns and how the structures of your face and neck have changed over time.
Standardised imaging records your starting point, so any change can be reviewed accurately later. This sits alongside your clinical assessment.
Where treatment near higher-risk anatomy is being considered, ultrasound may be used to see where blood vessels sit before treatment is planned.
- A real-time, in-person consultation with Dr Marie-Claire, before any treatment is considered.
- A review of your history, medications and goals.
- Anatomy-led planning, with standardised imaging as your record.
- Ultrasound where it helps to show blood vessels near higher-risk areas.
- A written plan that sets out options, risks and costs, with time to decide.
Who are these consultations for?
Consultations are available to adults aged 18 and over. Patients under 18 are not treated at the practice.
Dr Marie-Claire will tell you honestly when treatment is not suitable, or when waiting or doing less is the more sensible choice. Written informed consent is obtained before any treatment, and any required waiting period between consultation and treatment is followed.
Treatment may need to be deferred, or may not be suitable, in some situations. These include pregnancy or breastfeeding, an active infection or skin condition in the area, certain medical conditions or medications, and a history of reactions to previous treatment. Dr Marie-Claire will discuss these with you at consultation, and the list is not complete.

Frequently asked questions
Why aren't products or prices named on this page?
Australian law restricts the public advertising of prescription-only medicines. This includes naming them, describing them in a way that points to a specific medicine, and publishing prices. Dr Marie-Claire discusses options, risks and costs in a private consultation instead. The consultation is where you receive specific information that applies to you.
How is a treatment plan decided?
Dr Marie-Claire assesses your history, your anatomy and your goals in person. She uses standardised imaging, and may use ultrasound where blood vessels need to be located. The plan is then written down with the options, risks, costs and timing, and it is reviewed over time. Sometimes the advice is to do less, or nothing yet.
What are the risks?
All procedures carry risk. Common effects include bruising, swelling and tenderness. Rare but serious complications can occur. Dr Marie-Claire is a member of the Aesthetic Medical Emergency Team (AMET), and she discusses risks, and how they are managed, at consultation before any treatment is planned.
How long do results last?
Duration varies between people and between treatments. It depends on the treatment used, the area, your anatomy and your own biology. Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. Dr Marie-Claire will explain what to expect for your plan, and results are reviewed over time rather than at a single visit.
Where are appointments held in St Kilda?
Appointments are held in person at the practice's studio at 129 Wellington Street, St Kilda, Victoria, by appointment only. Every plan begins with a consultation with Dr Marie-Claire, and treatment is never arranged online, by message or by questionnaire. You can request a callback from the practice to arrange your first appointment.
