Ageing is not judged by the face alone. The décolletage and hands are read just as closely, and are often where sun damage shows first.
This assessment looks at how all three areas change over time: bone gradually recedes, fat pads lose volume, and skin thins and loses elasticity. Pigmentation and vascular changes become more common with age. Scarring or established lines may also be considered. Your own concerns are weighed against this bigger picture, so any plan addresses what is actually driving the change, not just where it shows.
Dr Marie-Claire reviews your medical history, your concerns and your anatomy before discussing treatment options. She has taught anatomy to undergraduate medical students and postgraduate medical trainees.
Standardised imaging records you as you actually are. Your anatomy is not a textbook average, and it is not treated like one.
Clinical photography and 3D photometry document your starting point precisely, so change is tracked over years, not guessed from memory.
You leave with a written, staged plan and honest advice. Sometimes the advice is to do less, or nothing yet. That is the point.
A proper medical history, and an honest conversation about what bothers you and what you want, whether that is broader signs of ageing across the face, décolletage and hands, or a single concern such as a scar. No assumptions, no upselling.
Dr Marie-Claire assesses how bone, muscle, fat and skin have each changed, across the face, décolletage and hands, and what treatments may be considered.
Standardised photographs and 3D imaging build a measured, three-dimensional record of your own anatomy, so your progress can be clearly viewed and measured over time. If treatments are planned in higher-risk anatomy, ultrasound will be used beforehand.
Your photographs and 3D images become part of your clinical record. You can discuss access to copies with the practice. They are never used for anything beyond your care, whether for research, publication, or as a demonstration of treatment, without your specific consent, given separately and only if you choose to.
Your written plan sets out the options, costs and proposed timing. Treatment timing depends on clinical assessment and any required consent or waiting periods.
What to do, in what order, over what timeframe, and what it costs. Built around your anatomy and reviewed as you go.
Your standardised 3D images are yours to keep and share as you choose. The clinic holds them securely for your ongoing care.
Which options may be appropriate, their limitations and whether treatment is needed.

Treatment timing depends on clinical assessment, discussion of the risks and your informed consent. You can take time to consider your options.
Because treating without assessing is guessing. The assessment is how Dr Marie-Claire plans safely and honestly, and it means everything that follows is chosen for your face.
The fee secures a full hour of medical time and is not refundable if you simply change your mind. If you need to move your appointment, contact the clinic and we will rebook you.
